I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years and I love what I do. From a very young age, I’ve been curious about what makes us different from one another, and what connects us in our shared human experiences. I’ve had my own life changing experience with therapy, and I feel privileged to be part of other people’s journeys.
I am trained in evidence-based relational and behavioral models, including Psychodynamic theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have experience treating a variety of different presenting concerns, including anxiety, mood disturbance, life transitions, grief and loss, non-suicidal self-injury, identity development and transition, attachment and relationship concerns, and trauma.
I spend my free time reading, baking, traveling and exploring the outdoors with my wife and our rescue terrier, Josephine.
