My Education and Experience

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Kent State University and obtained both my Master's and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the Graduate School for Professional Psychology (GSPP) at the University of Denver. My training experiences have included non-profit settings, community mental health clinics, and college counseling centers, with a particular focus on teens, young adults, adults and family systems.

I completed my American Psychological Association (APA) accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship at WellPower (formerly Mental Health Center of Denver) working with a diverse population of adults with serious and persistent mental illness. I completed my Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Aurora Mental Health and Recovery (formerly Aurora Mental Health Center) working with teens, transitional age youth, adults and refugees. After my fellowship, I returned to WellPower as part of the leadership team for Emerson St. for Teens and Young Adults, a unique and innovative program serving 15-26 year olds and their families in the Denver community. I had the privilege of being in two leadership roles during my time at Emerson St. overseeing and providing clinical supervision for a multidisciplinary team.
